Trail Description Site of a reclaimed phosphate mine, the park offers a variety of terrain and scenery. Much of the riding is on two track unimproved roads through rolling meadows although there is some single track trails through wooded areas. A number of picturesque small lakes add interest.

Campground This is a very well maintained class A campsite. It is in the open so there is no shade. There are posts for picket highlines to tie you horses. Several spots have enough room for your own corrals if you bring them. Reservations advised.

Directions From Rt 60 between Bartow and Brandon, take Rt 39 south approximately 11 or 12 miles to the entrance of the park. If you reach the town of picnic (Rt 672) you juist missed it. From the South, take Rt 39 north from Rt 62 about 10 miles (go through Ft Lonesome and Picnic).

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
